FAQs
Questions patients and families often ask.
General information to help you prepare for a consultation and understand the approach to care.

What should I bring to my first consultation?+
Bring your pathology and biopsy reports, scans and imaging discs, recent blood tests, discharge summaries, treatment records, a current medicine list and identification. Arranging the records in date order can make the review easier.
Does every cancer patient need surgery?+
No. Treatment depends on the cancer type, location, stage, biology and the person’s overall health. Surgery may be used alone or coordinated with chemotherapy, radiation or other treatments. A consultation is needed for an individual recommendation.
What does holistic cancer care mean here?+
It means treating the cancer with evidence-led medicine while also supporting nutrition, movement, sleep, emotional wellbeing, rehabilitation and the needs of the family. Supportive approaches do not replace standard cancer treatment.
Is robotic surgery suitable for every patient?+
No. Robotic surgery is a technique, not a treatment goal by itself. It is considered only when it is oncologically sound and offers a meaningful benefit for the individual case.
Are online consultations available?+
Online or video consultations may be available. Please use WhatsApp to ask the clinic team about the current process and suitability for your needs.
What are the Vasundhara clinic timings?+
